Our Mission
At Empower Specialist Services, our mission is to provide high-quality Specialist Employment Support to School Leavers of all abilities. We believe that all young people deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we are committed to helping them do so.
SCHOOL LEAVER EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT (SLES)
Individualised Support Plans
Our team of specialised educators work with each student to develop an individualised strength-based support plan tailored to their unique needs and learning style.
Multisensory Instruction
We utilize a multisensory approach to instruction that engages students in a variety of ways, including visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile learning.
Assistive Technology
We incorporate the latest assistive technology to support our participants in achieving academic success and independence.
Positive Behavior Supports
We use positive behavior supports to create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters social and emotional growth.
Collaborative Team Approach
Our team works collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that each participant receives the support they need to succeed.
Weekly Timetables
We provide our participants and their immediate carers weekly time-tables detailing what they will be doing with their educators. This includes breaks, engaging activities and much more.
Transition Planning
We support our participants in developing the skills and knowledge they need to successfully transition to the next phase of their lives, whether that be college, career, or independent living.
